The King George IV serves food throughout the inn. Our restaurant area seats 24 and is ideal for either private parties or those seeking something a bit more formal than a bar meal. The area adjacent to the restaurant can seat a further 20 people.

We also have two bar areas offering seating for around 60 and the external patio areas can seat a further 40.

Our full menu is available regardless of where you choose to sit. We offer a good selection of home cooked meals from light snacks to hearty fare that will please hungry walkers and campers. We try to source as much of our food locally as possible and continue to build relationships with local suppliers.

Our menu includes a number of vegetarian options and childrens meals. Please notify us of any special dietary requirements.

Whether you choose to eat with us or not, tea and coffee are available throughout the day.
 
 

Our lunch time menu is served from 12 noon up until 5pm, however times may vary during winter months. The evening menu then takes over, including our daily specials board.

Home cooked Sunday roasts are served from 12 to 3 pm. Children and infants are always welcome and high chairs are available.

From October we intend to cater for all tastes by introducing informal international cuisine nights. See our news and events link for details.
